Loud Vs Subtle Marketing
Loud Vs Subtle Marketing. A common request we get asked is how big is the print area, can it be larger. The bigger the better. However is it really that much better? Other than the fact that it isn’t physically possible in most instances, it’s actually a better idea to go for subtlety and have a smaller logo. Why?
Well first of all an item with a subtle brand of your logo whether it be a low cost promotional product or a high end corporate gift item will make the item look classy aesthetically. You want the corporate gift to look premium and be kept for longer right? …. in other words you will get better value.
Secondly having a subtle logo can actually increases the awareness of the user as well as the passer-by. Why? well advertising is all around us. Everything screams at you from Harvey Norman TV ads to posters as well as other promotional products all seeking for your attention. This means people switch off automatically. If you have a big big logo you won’t get the attention you require. People will switch off. However if you have a subtle message, it will be conveyed much more effectively and is more engaging to the user.
So yes having a subtle message branded on a promotional product in my opinion works much better than a big logo in many instances.
